Guelph, ON, November 8, 2016 – Connect Tech is showcasing new and exciting products at Electronica 2016, including new additions to its extensive line of NVIDIA® Jetson™ TX1 solutions. A functional demo has been set up at Booth A6-313, featuring the Connect Tech Orbitty Carrier for NVIDIA® Jetson™ TX1, an NVIDIA Jetson TX1 module, and a Stereolabs ZED Stereo Camera.

The demo was compiled by AerialGuard, a company that specializes in autonomous navigation for unmanned vehicles, developing on-board sensors and processors for high-level autonomy of the vehicles. Inspired by the human decision making process, AerialGuard created a new navigation architecture, allowing for context-based mission planning, complex sense-and-avoid, and intelligent navigation behaviour.

The Connect Tech booth demo features AerialGuard’s algorithm for obstacle detection, and the ZED Stereo Camera provides an exciting view of the surrounding space.
