Serial Mice do not function through a WhiteHEAT serial port. The standard MS mouse driver for Windows 98 (which also applies to Windows 95) requires a specific I/O address range and single IRQ (interrupt) assigned to the serial mouse device. Since the WhiteHEAT utilizes the Universal Serial Bus (USB), there are no specific I/O and IRQ settings assigned to each individual WhiteHEAT serial port.
