To Our Valued Customers,

Like many of you, we continue to keep a close eye on the news surrounding COVID-19 and its growing global impact. Our priority, as always, is the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, their families, and our valued customers and partners.  Amid ongoing concerns, I wanted to explain what we are doing here at Connect Tech in response to the situation, and to ensure business continuity for each of our customers.

Government Mandate

Our facilities are located in Ontario, Canada, which is currently in a state of emergency. As of March 23, 2020, Ontario has mandated that all non-essential businesses close.  Verified by CME, all manufacturing along with its integrated supply chains in Ontario are considered an essential service and have been deemed exempt from mandated business closures. As Connect Tech is a vital manufacturing partner to many essential sectors around the world, we will continue production and support for our customers as needed.

Safety

It is imperative that we take care of our staff, their families, and our community. We’ve taken action to reduce the number of onsite personnel while meeting the commitments for product delivery and support for our customers. A limited number of staff continue to work in our facility since certain jobs can only be done onsite. We will continue to support our workforce as this situation evolves.

Business Continuity

While we will endeavor to remain open and available for our customers, we are in uncharted territory and cannot presume to know what the future weeks may hold.  We continue to monitor the situation closely, but strongly suggest customers proactively order enough supplies to cover their production needs through the end of June 2020. It is our hope that in the event Connect Tech is mandated to close, having the extra stock will protect your business.

Response Times

In order to assure the safety of our workers, we have made the proactive decision to limit the number of personnel onsite. As a result of this initiative, processing times of incoming RMA’s may be impacted. We appreciate your patience while work diligently to maintain fast RMA turn-around times.

Take good care and stay healthy,
