Featured: About VPI 1.1

VPI (Vision Programing Interface) is a software library that provides Computer Vision / Image Processing algorithms implemented on PVA1 (Programmable Vision Accelerator), GPU and CPU. VPI 1.1 includes new algorithms and the developer preview of Python binding.

New VPI Algorithms:

  • Optical Flow
  • Laplacian Pyramid
  • Image Histogram
  • Histogram Equalization
  • Background Subtraction

In addition to VPI 1.1, JetPack 4.5 includes the L4T 32.6.1 OS with general system security improvements and updated flashing and encode/decode performance.
