Introduction
This software installation guide is designed to help users successfully install the Intellicon ISA serial adapter under a Windows NT platform. Before beginning the software installation, please be sure to read the product manual that came with the Intellicon adapter for hardware installation/configuration instructions.
Installing the driver
1. Intellicon driver installation program, setup.exe will be located on the floppy diskette that you received with your Intellicon ISA adapter. You may either choose to copy these files to a directory on your computer, or you may use the files on the diskette directly. Please make sure if you do copy the files to your system that all of the files remain together.
2. Double-click on the setup.exe icon. This will extract all of the necessary driver files to the appropriate locations. The ctisetup control panel applet will automatically launch.
3. From the control panel applet, you must now enter the Intellicon hardware parameters. The following parameters are recommended:
Shared Memory Address: d0000
I/O Port Address: 300
Hardware Interrupt (IRQ): 10
4. After the driver installation is complete, the applet will inform you to either start the driver from the devices applet in the control panel or to reboot. The installation is finished!
