Obtaining a Hard Copy of System Information

Have you ever wanted a hard copy of information about your system? It’s easy to do. Open Control Panel and double-click the System icon. When the System Properties sheet appears, click the Device Manager tab, then click the Print button to display the Print dialog box. If you choose the System summary option, you’ll receive a short report that tells you which system resources – such as IRQ, I/O port, memory and DMA channels – are being used by what hardware. If you choose the All devices and system summary option, you’ll receive a complete report that includes detailed information about each piece of hardware, plus information on what hardware is using what resources. And if you select a particular device in Device Manager, before you click the Print button, the Selected class or device option will also be available.
