As an NVIDIA Elite Partner with early roadmap access, Connect Tech engineered Tempo IGX to take customers from standard NVIDIA IGX T5000 deployment to functional safety certification on the same hardware, without a major platform change.
For Immediate Release
San Jose, California, March 16, 2026 — Connect Tech Inc. (CTI), a global leader in rugged Edge AI computing and a trusted designer of carrier boards and embedded computing solutions for NVIDIA platforms, today announced Tempo IGX at NVIDIA GTC 2026. Built on NVIDIA IGX T5000 module, Tempo IGX is a complete Edge AI robotics platform that lets autonomous vehicle and robotics OEMs deploy production-ready compute today and work toward functional safety certification without ever having to swap out their hardware.
Connect Tech has been designing carrier boards and embedded computing solutions for NVIDIA platforms for decades. That engineering depth is a big part of what makes Tempo IGX possible. As an NVIDIA Elite Partner, CTI gets early access to NVIDIA product roadmaps and works closely with NVIDIA throughout the development process. With Tempo IGX, that collaboration is developing a product that supports the complete NVIDIA IGX functional safety path, covering everything from a standard NVIDIA IGX T5000 deployment through to a fully certifiable configuration, all on the same hardware. OEMs can start deploying now and pursue certification when the time comes, without redesigning their system.
“Tempo enables OEMs to deploy on NVIDIA IGX T5000 today and advance toward certification on the same rugged vehicle platform,” points out Patrick Dietrich, President at Connect Tech. “By aligning our system design with NVIDIA’s safety architecture and enterprise ecosystem, we give customers performance, lifecycle stability, and a clear path from development through certified deployment.”
The platform is built around a comprehensive vehicle interface set that reflects CTI’s experience designing embedded systems for real-world deployments. Tempo IGX supports GMSL3 camera inputs for full surround-view perception, 10000BASE-T1 Gigabit Ethernet ports for automotive-grade in-vehicle networking, and an A2B audio channel for daisy-chained audio and data distribution. CAN, USB, and storage interfaces are also included, so OEMs get everything they need integrated and validated on a single platform.
Tempo IGX ships with a Connect Tech Board Support Package validated specifically for the hardware, something CTI includes across its embedded computing product line. From there, customers have a clear path to production with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software support and access to the latest toolchains including NVIDIA Isaac, NVIDIA Holoscan, and NVIDIA Halos. NVIDIA’s 10-year lifecycle and enterprise support means the platform stays viable across the full development and production timeline, which is critical for programs in automotive and robotics.
