For Immediate Release
April 9, 2024
Guelph ON, Canada – Connect Tech, a global leader in embedded computing solutions, today announced the release of the Graphite VPX, a rugged SOSA-aligned 3U VPX single board computer designed with the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ Industrial system-on-module. Alignment to the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) standard ensures seamless interoperability with other SOSA-compliant components and systems.
Equipped with complete Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) support, the Graphite VPX enables efficient remote management and monitoring capabilities. High-speed connectivity such as dual 10GBASE-KR Ethernet, dual USB 3.2 Gen2 and PCIe x8 Gen4 allow for ample expansion and integration. Meeting MIL-STD-810H and DO-160 for shock and vibration, it is an ideal choice for today’s mission-critical aerospace and security AI applications.
“The Graphite VPX ensures today’s mission critical applications can harness the latest in AI technology at the rugged edge,” says Rob Callaghan, Chief Product Officer at Connect Tech. “SOSA compliance means seamless compatibility within your system architecture, reducing development times resulting in faster time to market. Powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing, the Graphite VPX takes full advantage of the latest AI technology in a SWAP-optimized package.”
An Elite partner in the NVIDIA Partner Network, Connect Tech is committed to designing edge AI solutions such as the Graphite VPX to meet the needs of modern embedded applications. The NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial delivers up to 248 TOPS of AI performance for embedded industrial applications, with power configurable between 15W and 75W. When integrated with SOSA-aligned modules, it significantly reduces development costs and time to market.
