Guelph, ON, Canada – Connect Tech, global leader in Edge AI solutions, announces its SOSA-aligned VPX Development System. The chassis is designed for rapid deployment and development with Connect Tech’s SOSA-aligned VPX product line, including the Graphite VPX, accelerated by the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin. The compact 3U / 1-slot chassis is stackable, allowing for multi-card configurations and integrates Connect Tech’s VPX and Rear Transition Modules (RTM) to deliver a streamlined platform for rapid prototyping and testing.
Connect Tech celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025 and over a decade supporting the NVIDIA Jetson platform. This unique addition to the company’s already robust Jetson product line delivers a compact and rugged design built for lab and prototyping use.

Product Overview
The VPX Development System combines Connect Tech’s VPX line of 3U SOSA-aligned modules, including RTM modules that simplify I/O access. Fully stackable, the system is designed to enable single or interconnected modules for scalable system development. Active cooling is provided by four variable-speed fans, with convenient control via wireless remote.
Engineered for durability and usability, the system features a powder-coated steel chassis with aluminum conduction-cooled card guides and an acrylic top panel for easy visibility. Compact and lightweight, it is designed to help teams get cards up and running quickly, without the complexity of backplane design or custom interconnects.
