Connect Tech's GMSL3 camera platform allows up to 8 cameras to be connected to Connect Tech carriers, accelerated by the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ and Jetson Thor™ T5000 modules. Power to the cameras is provided by PoC (Power over Coax) so all the data, control signals, and power are sent through a single 50 ohm coaxial cable. This allows for flexibility in cable routing and ease of installation in automotive applications.
Short detection and overcurrent protection ensure a robust, production ready solution. The board is compatible with GMSL3 cameras up to 12Gbps using PAM4, as well as GMSL2 cameras up to 6Gbps. Each quad coax connector can be configured independently via software to set the channel modulation and tunnel/pixel mode.
