For defense, Connect Tech developed product families that address changing compute, environmental, and integration requirements across autonomous platforms. The product range spans compact embedded platforms, MIL-rugged systems, and multi-module inference infrastructure, supported by a consistent engineering approach through the CTI EdgeAI Stack.
Defense autonomy spans very different platform classes, from compact UAS and ISR payloads to rugged ground systems and higher-density Edge infrastructure. At AUSA 2026, Connect Tech highlighted how its product families support changing compute, sensor, environmental, and integration requirements across a common Edge AI engineering approach.
Autonomous platforms place very different demands on compute, sensors, connectivity, and environmental performance. A small UAS payload may be driven by SWaP, while a ground platform may need sealed connectivity, multiple cameras, local storage, and operation through shock, vibration, dust, and temperature extremes. Higher-performance systems require substantially more processing and networking.
Size Matters: Compact Mission Compute
The Hadron and Boson carrier families provide compact options for integrating Edge AI compute, cameras, storage, networking, and mission I/O into UAS, sensor payloads, compact robotics, and other SWaP-constrained applications.
Local processing can also reduce dependence on continuous network connectivity. For defense applications operating with limited bandwidth or intermittent communications, keeping perception and inference at the Edge can help maintain application functionality when a cloud connection is unavailable.
Rugged Autonomous Systems: Sentry-X2 and Falcon
Fielded military platforms introduce additional requirements for environmental protection, rugged connectivity, thermal management, power, storage, camera interfaces, and maintainability.
The Sentry-X2 family carries the architecture into two related rugged system sizes. Sentry-X2 Mini provides a compact MIL-rugged platform for applications such as UAS, ISR payloads, autonomous ground systems, and other deployments where space and weight remain constrained. The Sentry-X2 Mini system is also recognized at AUSA 2026 as a nominee in the National Partner Awards. Sentry-X2 expands the family with greater networking, I/O, storage, and vision capability for larger autonomous and mission-compute requirements.
Falcon Vehicle System adds a sealed, vehicle-focused option for platforms exposed directly to the operating environment. Its architecture is well suited to autonomous ground systems and other mobile applications where ingress protection, vehicle interfaces, and rugged Edge compute need to be integrated as one system.
High-Performance Rugged Mission Compute
Larger autonomous platforms and sensor-rich mission systems may require higher camera counts, faster networking, more local storage, and greater onboard processing.
Anvil-RX provides high-performance Edge AI in an IP67-rated system with support for multiple GMSL2 cameras, high-speed networking, local storage, and vehicle and robotic interfaces. It is positioned for applications that need substantial onboard processing in a rugged deployed environment.
Programs that control their own enclosure or system architecture may need the same class of compute without a complete integrated system. Rogue and Rogue-RX provide carrier-level options for program-specific enclosures and system architectures, with Rogue-RX adding ruggedized high-speed connectivity for harsher environments.
Defense integrators can choose how much of the surrounding platform Connect Tech provides, from a carrier-level foundation through a complete rugged system.
Beyond the Platform: Multi-Module Edge AI
Larger deployments may need to support multiple platforms, sensor streams, concurrent AI workloads, mission-software development, or fleet-level processing beyond the capacity of a single module. Connect Tech Inference Servers extend the product family into multi-module Edge AI, with AGX-class configurations supporting up to 12 modules and NX-class systems supporting up to 24 modules in 2U.
For defense programs, Connect Tech Inference Servers provide a path from compact onboard compute to higher-density Edge infrastructure without moving the workload back to a conventional cloud model.
A Common Engineering Layer Through the CTI EdgeAI Stack
Fielding autonomous capability draws on the full CTI EdgeAI Stack, from sensors, BSPs, drivers, networking, and software through thermal design, mechanical integration, and production. CTai LABS adds AI engineering, model optimization, application development, sensor integration, and Physical ai deployment.
For autonomous programs spanning air, land, and other mission platforms, the CTI EdgeAI Stack can reduce duplicated integration work and help teams adapt proven software, sensor, and deployment practices across platform classes.
Local processing is especially important where bandwidth is constrained, connectivity is intermittent, or mission data needs to remain on-prem. On-platform AI can support perception, scene understanding, and decision-support workflows without relying on continuous cloud connectivity.
Built for the Defense Autonomy Mission
AUSA 2026 brings together the broader defense community at a time when drones, persistent sensing, autonomous systems, and faster technology fielding are reshaping mission requirements. Hardware for autonomous and sensor-rich systems must fit the platform, survive the environment, and provide enough flexibility to evolve as requirements change.
Hadron and Boson, the Sentry-X2 family, Falcon, Anvil-RX, Rogue and Rogue-RX, and Connect Tech Inference Servers cover distinct points from compact autonomous platforms through rugged systems and high-density Edge infrastructure.
Connect Tech has also expanded its two-year limited product warranty across qualifying products purchased after August 1, 2026, providing additional coverage as customers move from development into deployment.
