Connect Tech's GMSL2 Plus camera platform allows up to 8 cameras to be connected to Connect Tech carriers, accelerated by the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ and Jetson Thor™ T5000 modules. Power to the cameras is provided by PoC (Power over Coax) so all the data, control signals, and power are sent through a single 50 ohm coaxial cable. This allows for flexibility in cable routing and ease of installation in automotive applications.
Short detection and overcurrent protection ensure a robust, production ready solution. The board is compatible with GMSL2 cameras up to 6Gbps. Each quad coax connector can be configured independently via software to set the channel modulation and tunnel/pixel mode.
